Kevin Gallen
1st Class Hons B Comm. (UCD), ACCA
Partner, TCCA
For more than three decades Kevin has translated complex business data into clear, bank-grade financial models that have guided boards, investors and lenders through critical inflection points. In the aftermath of the global financial crisis, he played a central role in the modelling that underpinned the rescue and reorganisation of Irish Life & Permanent. Before partnering with TCCA, Kevin was a Director with Investec (formerly NCB) Corporate Finance from 2007 to 2017, leading public and private fund-raisings as well as buy-side and sell-side mandates. Prior to joining Investec he was Group Finance Director and Company Secretary of Unidare plc (1996–2006), where he executed more than 15 cross-border acquisitions and disposals and designed the cash-flow and valuation models that enabled the solvent liquidation of the group, resulting in a €100 million return to shareholders. His grounding in rigorous financial modelling began with Bacardi, where he served as Assistant European Controller, and with PwC in Dublin, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Today Kevin combines advisory work with early-stage investing, providing founders with the same modelling rigour that has distinguished his corporate career and continues to give TCCA’s clients a technical edge.
